Dr Jennifer Perry BOralH (BDSc), GDipDent, BN, CentInterBus
Richmond Road Dental is pleased to announce that after taking a short break to travel and spend time with her husband and children, Dr Jennifer Perry will be joining our team as an associate dentist from August.
Prior to dentistry, Dr Jenny completed a Bachelor of Nursing (at the Queensland University of Technology) and after graduation worked as a psychiatric nurse for five years. During that time, she saw all sides of the healthcare profession and realised the importance of a holistic approach to health.
Dr Jenny decided upon dentistry as her long-term career as she enjoys that it is a caring, autonomous profession which is constantly challenging and rewarding. She is Queensland-trained, graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry from Griffith University (QLD) in 2009. She was awarded the Tenant Prize for her contribution to rural, remote and indigenous communities during her dental studies. Jenny was also awarded the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence, which is awarded to only the top 5% of all university students.
Dr Jenny is a member of the Australian Dental Association. She has a passion for alleviating client fears through patient education and clinical excellence. Jenny loves all aspects of dentistry, however, has a keen interest in paediatric dentistry, preventative care and sleep medicine.
Jenny is always on the hunt for exceptional food and her next great travel adventure. Jenny loves being able to work with her hands and is always in the pursuit of a new creative outlet – her most recent artistic endeavours include millinery and pottery.
A lifelong local, Jenny is often spotted around the Camp Hill community when she’s not at the clinic. At home, she’s kept happily on her toes by her three gorgeous daughters, who bring constant joy and endless chaos to her life.
