Smile makeovers
Every cosmetic dental case is unique to the patient. Some cosmetic dental treatments are very complex, especially when:
- multiple teeth require treatment
- the existing teeth are very worn down
- the bite is significantly compromised by crowding or missing teeth.
In such cases, our dentists may recommend a combination of dental procedures to improve function and aesthetics. This is collectively known as a full-mouth rehabilitation or smile makeover.
A smile makeover may involve:
- rebuilding worn-down teeth
- replacing key missing teeth
- orthodontic tooth movement or surgery to improve the alignment of teeth and jaws
- improving the aesthetics of teeth, both individually and collectively
- the combined expertise of general and specialist dental practitioners.
Important to know
- Successful cosmetic dental treatments depend on meticulous planning, the dentist’s clinical skills, high-quality dental materials, and the skills of dental technicians.
- Many of the treatments provided as part of a smile makeover permanently alter natural teeth. Our dentists spend time with our patients, explaining the risks and benefits of each option.
