Fundraising for M’Lop Tapang Dental Clinic via quilt raffles
Here’s a gallery of the beautiful handmade quilts we’ve raffled at our practice to raise funds for our work in the M’Lop Tapang dental clinic (Opens in a new tab).
2016 – Two beautiful quilts raised money for the M’Lop Tapang dental clinic
These two gorgeous quilts were made and donated by Christina. The first prize was a massive black, white, and red disappearing nine-patch quilt (modelled here by Dr Jane and won by Lillian).
A lap-sized quilt in shades of green on a cream background was a beautiful prize for our runner-up, Shayne.
Thanks to the generosity of our patients, we raised money for our clinic in Cambodia, which enabled us to provide much-needed dental treatment to children from poor communities.
2017 quilt fundraiser
Our 2017 fundraiser featured a quilt made in warm tones of red and orange with a gorgeous star design. It was generously donated by Christina.
Dr Jane and Richard drew the winner’s name, and Lisgar was delighted to be the owner of such a beautiful quilt.
2018 quilt fundraiser
Thanks to Christina’s ongoing generosity, we had two quilts to raffle this year. One was a beautiful panel quilt with a lovely mountain scene; the other was a colourful, scrappy circle quilt. Once again, the funds we raised went towards the M’Lop Tapang dental clinic in Cambodia.
2020 quilt fundraiser
In 2020, we raffled a beautiful chained quilt in tones of blue and cream. This quilt was made and donated by Christina, who helped us raise much-needed funds for M’Lop Tapang.
2021 quilt fundraiser
You can see it was the era of COVID in this photo! What a cheerful quilt, beautifully crafted by Christina – perfect to raise the spirits and some money for the dental clinic in Cambodia, where we treat underprivileged children and their families.
2022 – Quilted tote bags!
Something a little different in 2022 – quilted tote bags! These were made and donated by Christina. This raffle helped us raise $156 towards the M’Lop Tapang dental clinic.
2023 – Another beautiful quilt
This year’s Christmas raffle featured a black, white, and lime green quilt made by the wonderful Christine. Through our raffle, we raised $274 to go towards the ongoing work of the M’Lop Tapang organisation. Our lucky winner was Terri.
Easter 2024 – A different way of raising donations for M’Lop Tapang.
Not a quilt! But this large jar of easter eggs and Oral B Pro 500 power toothbrush was a fantastic fundraiser for the M’Lop Tapang dental clinic in Cambodia. Long-time patient Alan was the winner. We raised much-needed funds to improve the dental health of children in Cambodia.
